The photos almost speak for themselves how beautiful it was! Our friends getting married brought us to this small Mexico town; about 45 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta. Otherwise I don't think we ever would have known about it ! The timing was also perfect because it was Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead), a Mexican holiday that reunite the living and the dead. Families created ofrendas (offerings) to honor their departed family members and friends. The town set up many decorations all around and each night of the two night celebration had performers, dancers, music, dancing, and even a parade that marched to the cemetery.

The ocean was only blocks from our hotel and every corner had a street vendor or market. We could walk everywhere we wanted but many people drove golf carts or bikes around. We experienced some of the best food and drinks here for reasonable prices. The mountains could be seen in the distance, to give a jungle ocean vibe, which was really awesome to experience! The weather was scorching hot, even in November, but I definitely enjoyed this whole trip!
